Welcome Back

The school began on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, for students this year.  School is starting out online - distance learning. So with distance learning, there comes a great learning curve for both the teacher and the student.  So one of the things that came up while trying to figure out how to learn and how to block schedule teach, I began messing around with google meet. One of the things I found is that I could create an online live camera to film both the Chicken Coop and the Chicken Hatchery at HHS. Here are the links.

Staff Preparation

Welcome back to Hillside High School for this 2020-2021 academic school year! The staff at HHS have worked hard this past week getting things ready for the new school year. Imagine if you will. You are a tradesperson and have done your job a certain way all your life. Then, in a matter of months, the way you have been performing your duties is no longer acceptable or allowed.  That is what is has been like for the teaching profession.  We are very fortunate that we do get to continue working, but the fashion in which we are accustomed too is no longer allowed, at least, here in San Bernardino County, California.  This school year we will begin teaching remotely.

And to my seniors I want you to know that Falecia and the other three goats have joined Mrs. Haver in the Fresno area on her 5-acre farm.

Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!

This just in from a principal back east.  Got to love it!  We start the academic year under COVID-19 quarantine for schools.  Teachers will be in the classroom without students,  education will be online.
